Every ARS SONORA® is a one-of-a-kind work of art that reflects the imagination of its creators, as well as the spirit of those in the community in which it serves. Although each final work of art is different, every ARS SONORA® shares one key trait: they are only true ARS SONORA® if they incorporate PACCARD bells as a central design element.
PACCARD Bell Foundry’s New Art Form
ARS SONORA® is a completely new form of art that combines elements of sculpture, architecture, sound, and performance in imaginative ways that have never been done before. While the term “ARS SONORA®” is used to refer to this artistic concept in general, it also refers to each individually sculptured instrument.

Some ARS SONORA® works of art are based on a minimalist concept with very few bells and a visual focus. Others have many bells that are incorporated into the structure to offer expanded musical possibilities.
