The carillon is a peal of bells arranged together to produce synchronized sounds (up to 5 notes, called partials). Paccard manufactures carillons through its entity “Ars Sonora”. This entity proposes musical creations based on the bells vibrations and sounds. Paccard’s carillons exist in two types: those equipped with a traditional keyboard console, and those using electric bell-ringing equipment. Advantages of electric carillons include increased frequency of use and cost effectiveness, especially with regard to traditional carillons.
Ars Sonora exports its carillons and other musical creations all around the world. The reputation of its carillons has been gained through the ages. Since 1796, Paccard has designed robust high-quality bronze bells as well as their accessories and equipments.
