| BELL RINGING EQUIPEMENT |
|
The ringing motor is a piece of equipment which allows to ring the bell from the outside. Then the bell is stationnary, unlike the swinging system of ringing. The sound effect is very different from the one of a swinging bell. It is particularly appropriate for ringing the hours, the angelus or tolling the knell. It is a three-phase motor, 220/380 volts, with a cast iron bowl which strikes the bell on its thickest point. The coils are cast from a master mold and the shell is reinforced. Th emotor has front and back stops and is adjustable on different positions. |
