The educational tours appeal to the senses of sight, hearing, touch, just as smell.They raise a large range of issues such as : the fire, men's activity, the evolution of craft industry, the molding techniques just as music, through the discovery of bells tone. Each issue is broached in a very appropriate vocabulary and can be more or less developed, according to the class or school pedagogical plan.
The PACCARD Museum, it's also his mascot Campanelle®, a smart and mischievous little bell, who proposes an entertaining approach of the making process and the bell universe generally speaking.

As soon as the chidren enter the Museum, they are immersed in a universe that make their senses wide awake. The large sized Reception also allows the class to organize before visiting. At the end of the visit, the children the Souvenir Shop with a large range of items for tight budget (from 1 €). At the PACCARD Museum, the Educational Tour is free for the accompanying adults.

Each year, the PACCARD Bell Foundry casts between 500 and 600 bells. Every Thursday (based on the workshop schedule), the Museum offers School Groups the opportunity to see this magnificent and unusual sight in person.
Enter the magic of the melting bronze, and join us for a live bell-casting.Durée 20 minutes. Reservations are required, and bell castings are only available on Thursdays. An additional fee of 2 € will apply.

Experience PACCARD bells in a way you've never done before. Come join us for a concert of French and international music, featuring a beautiful Voice and Carillon duet. Children will learn how a bi-centenial company can explote and promote its patrimony and know-how, by associating them to a high technology. A brilliant grand finale ! Reservations are required, and the Voice and Carillon Concerts are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday only. An additional fee of 2 € will apply.

Take a guided tour of the PACCARD workshop to discover, firsthand, how the bell-making process works. For children, it's a truly fascinating journey into the bell founder's world. For safety reasons, guided tours of the workshop are conducted outside working hours. April 15 to October 15 : From Friday 2:30 p.m. to Sunday 5:30 p.m. An additional fee of 2 € will apply.

Fort de ses 20 années d'expérience dans l'accueil des groupes scolaires, le Musée PACCARD décide en Octobre 2004 de développer toute une gamme d'outils pédagogiques au service des enseignants, afin de faciliter aux élèves la compréhension des procédés de fabrication - parfois fort complexes.
Ainsi naquit Campanelle®, une petite cloche espiègle et délurée, qui accompagne désormais petits et grands durant leur visite, à travers des jeux, des commentaires, des explications… une façon ludique de s'initier à l'univers de la cloche. Campanelle® (en latin campana = cloche), doit son nom à une étude pour piano de Franz Litz, "La Campanella", elle-même empruntée au final du Concerto pour Violon n°2, de Paganini, qui fait intervenir des cloches à main, connues sous le nom de "handbells".

- Historique - Accordages - Ateliers Graphiques - Fabrication - Fiches techniques ... > "Les jeux dde Campanelle", un jeu spécialement conçu pour les 6-12 ans (avec sa version corrigée pour l'enseignant), à réaliser dans le Musée, à la manière d'un jeu de piste. > Des échantillons de fabrication légendés, pour travailler en classe les différentes techniques de moulage et de fabrication. > Le CD "Accords & Résonance", accompagné de son livret d'écoute, pour une initiation à l'aspect musical de la cloche.
